Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what personal data Atlas & Main collects through its website and legal-work platform, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

Who we are

Atlas & Main Tech Inc. (“Atlas & Main”) operates a software platform for clients and legal professionals. Atlas & Main is a technology company, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Legal services are performed by the independent law firm or legal professional handling your request, which may keep separate professional records. This policy covers personal data processed through the Atlas & Main platform.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide or generate when using the platform:

  • Account and profile — your name, email address, sign-in credentials, and any phone number, address, company details, or profile photo you provide.
  • Request content — legal-request details, form responses, drafts, status history, comments, and related work product.
  • Messages — AI, live-chat, request, and support conversations, including attachments you choose to send.
  • Files — documents, images, and other supported files you upload or create in the platform.
  • Payment records — invoice and payment status, amounts, dates, and transaction references. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and do not pass through Atlas & Main servers.
  • Notification data — notification preferences, inbox records, and delivery information needed for supported notifications.
  • Security and operational data — authentication, access, audit, error, and usage records needed to secure and operate the service.

We do not sell personal data, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across other companies’ websites or apps. We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers through the Atlas & Main website.

How we use information

We use personal data to provide and secure accounts; deliver requests, documents, messages, and support; provide AI-assisted features; process invoices and payments; send enabled notifications; maintain audit and workflow history; prevent abuse; and diagnose service problems.

AI features

When you use an AI feature, the prompts and document content you choose to submit are processed through Google’s Gemini API to generate the requested result. AI conversations are stored with your account so the service can provide history and continuity. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, is not legal advice, and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional.

Who we share information with

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, provide requested legal work, comply with law, or protect the platform:

  • Authorized law firms and legal professionals — request details, messages, files, and billing records needed to perform the legal work you request.
  • Google Firebase — authentication, databases, file storage, and cloud functions that operate the platform.
  • Google Gemini API — prompts and attached content submitted to AI features.
  • Stripe — payment and invoice processing; Stripe maintains its own transaction records.

Retention and deletion

Data remains in your account while it is needed to provide the service or meet legal, security, and financial obligations. Client accounts can be deleted immediately from Settings after recent reauthentication. Deletion permanently removes the client profile, private files, private AI history, notifications, and sign-in credentials. Requests, message text, invoices, payment records, and support records may be retained as the law firm’s, payment processor’s, or support team’s records, with Atlas & Main identity fields anonymized where the platform supports it. Open live chats are ended and anonymized. Stripe retains its own financial records. In-app notifications automatically expire after 90 days. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. Atlas & Main currently provides these controls:

  • Export — download a JSON copy of your available account data and a short-lived manifest for your files from Settings, up to once per day.
  • Delete — client accounts can permanently delete their account from Settings after confirming their password.
  • Notifications — choose which supported push categories are enabled; these settings do not remove existing in-app notifications.
  • Correction — update editable profile and company information in Settings.

Security

We use encryption in transit, managed cloud infrastructure, authenticated access, role and request-level authorization, and additional checks for sensitive operations. No service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access through Support.

Children

Atlas & Main is intended for adults and professional legal work. You must be at least 18 years old to create a client account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will revise the date on this page and provide in-app or email notice before material changes take effect when appropriate.
