Terms of Service

1. Who provides what

Atlas & Main Tech Inc. (“Atlas & Main”) provides the software platform, including the website, AI-assisted tools, document workspaces, communications, and billing features. Atlas & Main is a technology company, not a law firm, and does not practice law. Legal services are provided solely by the independent law firm or legal professional handling your request. Any attorney-client relationship is with that provider under its engagement terms, not with Atlas & Main.

2. AI features are not legal advice

AI features provide generated information and drafting assistance. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances; they do not constitute legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship. Review AI output carefully and consult the legal professional handling your request before relying on it.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create a client account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly report unauthorized access. Lawyer and developer accounts are provisioned through authorized organizational processes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You retain ownership of documents, messages, request details, and other content you submit. You grant Atlas & Main the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit, and display that content to operate the platform and provide the services you request. You must not:

• Upload content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or that you are not authorized to share.
• Introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Use the platform to abuse, harass, defraud, or harm another person.
• Circumvent security, usage limits, payment controls, or professional obligations.

5. Fees and payments

Atlas & Main may charge an Initialization Fee disclosed when a legal request is started. Fees for legal work are set and invoiced by the law firm or legal professional providing that work. Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment details, amounts, request references, and due dates are shown before payment; card details are entered directly with Stripe and do not pass through Atlas & Main servers.

6. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how Atlas & Main collects, uses, shares, retains, exports, and deletes personal data and is incorporated into these terms.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. Client accounts can be deleted from Settings, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy. Atlas & Main may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms, threatens the service or other users, or is no longer authorized by the relevant organization.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties except where the law does not permit their exclusion. Atlas & Main is not responsible for legal services provided by independent law firms or professionals. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas & Main’s total liability for claims relating to the platform is limited to the amounts you paid Atlas & Main during the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will revise the date on this page and provide in-app or email notice before material changes take effect when appropriate. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them.

10. Atlas & Main intellectual property

The Atlas & Main name, branding, software, and website content are owned by Atlas & Main Tech Inc. or its licensors. These terms do not grant permission to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or use them except as needed to use the service lawfully.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable law identified in your service or engagement agreement, without overriding any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
